How it works

Start with the drive, not the zip code.

Most searches make you guess which neighborhoods are "close enough." This one draws the map around your real commute at the time you actually leave.

Set your destination

Enter your office, school, or anywhere you go most, then choose drive to or from it.

Pick your time

Choose a drive time from 5 to 90 minutes, your arrival time, and the day of the week.

Narrow it down

Add price, beds, baths, square footage, pool, pets, and schools, then browse what fits.

Tips for a better commute search

Use your real departure time

A 20-minute drive at 10 a.m. can easily be 40 at 8 a.m. on I-635. Set the arrival time you actually need.

Check both directions

Try "drive from here" too. Evening traffic home doesn't always match the morning.

Add a second stop

Two commuters? Run the search for each workplace and look for where the areas overlap.

Save a little buffer

Pick a drive time 5–10 minutes longer than your goal so you don't miss good homes just past the line.
